Terms and Conditions for WillowVale Cleaners

Welcome to WillowVale Cleaners. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including professional dry cleaning, fabric stain removal, garment alterations and repairs, eco-friendly cleaning options, same-day express service, wedding dress preservation, and leather and suede cleaning. By submitting items for cleaning or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Garments

WillowVale Cleaners will exercise the utmost care in cleaning garments entrusted to us. We reserve the right to refuse to clean any garment that we believe may be damaged in the cleaning process or that does not have clear care instructions. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains due to factors such as fabric type, dye, prior attempts to clean, or age of the stain. Customers are encouraged to inform us of any pre-existing damage or specific care requirements when dropping off items.

2. Pricing and Payment

Prices for our services are displayed at our premises and on our online platform where applicable. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any changes will not affect orders already placed. Payment is due in full upon collection of garments or before delivery for remote services. We accept various forms of payment, details of which are available at our counter.

3. Collection and Unclaimed Items

Customers will be provided with a collection slip or similar identification upon dropping off items. This slip must be presented at the time of collection. WillowVale Cleaners will not be held responsible for items collected by individuals not presenting the correct identification, provided reasonable care was taken to verify identity. Items not collected within 30 days of the agreed collection date may be subject to a storage fee. Items unclaimed after 90 days may, at our discretion, be donated to charity or disposed of, without further notice.

4. Garment Alterations and Repairs

For alteration and repair services, customers are responsible for providing clear instructions and fitting garments correctly during the consultation. Once work has commenced, changes to instructions may incur additional charges. WillowVale Cleaners is not responsible for misfits if the garment was not tried on or instructions were unclear. Payment for alterations and repairs is due upon completion and collection.

5. Liability for Loss or Damage

In the rare event of loss or damage to an item while in our care, WillowVale Cleaners' liability will not exceed ten (10) times the charge for cleaning that item, regardless of brand or condition. We are not liable for incidental damage to personal items left in garments, such as money, jewellery, or other valuables. Customers are responsible for checking all pockets and removing all personal items before submitting garments for cleaning. We are also not responsible for damage due to defective garment manufacturing (e.g., colour loss, shrinkage, or damage to fragile embellishments) that becomes apparent during the standard cleaning process.

6. Eco-Friendly Cleaning Options

Our eco-friendly cleaning options utilise processes and solvents designed to minimise environmental impact. While effective, some deeply set stains or delicate materials may require alternative methods for optimal results. We will advise you on the most suitable cleaning method for your garment.

7. Same-Day Express Service

The same-day express service is subject to availability and cut-off times. While we endeavour to meet all express service requests, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays. We will inform you immediately if we anticipate any issues with meeting the requested turnaround time.

8. Wedding Dress Preservation and Leather/Suede Cleaning

These specialised services involve intricate processes. While we take exceptional care, the inherent nature of these items means that complete stain removal or restoration cannot always be guaranteed, particularly for very old or severely damaged items. A separate consultation and agreement may be required for these services, outlining specific expectations and potential limitations.

9. Customer Service and Complaints

WillowVale Cleaners is committed to providing excellent service. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of collecting your item. We will review your concern and, where appropriate, offer a re-cleaning service at no additional charge. For any complaints regarding damage or loss, claims must be made within 7 days of collection, accompanied by the receipt and the garment in question.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
